You know, now that 'actually blogging' (as opposed to just reading them) is reaching the mainstream, it seems everyone from copyright lawyers to new 'sales associates' at abercrombie & fitch have their own soapboxes. It's given me a little jolt of deja vu.

Back in the heady days of the Mosaic browser (remember 1994?), everyone felt so important having their own "homepage." But you know, there were very few people with anything worth seeing. I'm allowed to say this; I had my own fairly useless page - complete with 60kb jpeg logo (1:11 to download at 14.4kbps) and an unordered list of my 4 other favorite homepages.

Looking around the blogosphere, I don't think much has changed. This post has zero comments.
